Whenever you think of Orlando, the chances are Walt Disney World crosses your mind, which is hardly surprising when the city is home to this popular theme park that attracts thousands of visitors each year. Indeed, the city even has the nickname ‘The Theme Park Capital of the World’ just to drive home the fact! There is much more to Orlando than its theme parks, although you may decide to experience ‘Gay Days’ at Walt Disney World, as they’re a lot of fun! There is also the opportunity to explore museums and parks in the area, as well as sample the wild nightlife on offer.

Indeed, there are quite a few gay bars and clubs scattered around the area if you’re interested in partying and meeting men. There are also a number of events held throughout the year that attract a significant gay crowd. There is the Come Out With Pride event that is held in October and includes a festival where you can listen to live music and enjoy various forms of entertainment on the main stage, as well as a parade and fireworks display. If you’re interested in finding big, burly Bears to mingle with, then there are a couple of events that might appeal to you, including the Tidal Wave Pool Party and the Orlando Bear Bash.

You can also take a trip to SeaWorld Adventure Park, take a tour around Universal Studios, see alligators and other reptilian creatures at Gatorland or have some fun speeding down waterslides at the Wet ‘n Wild waterpark. If you prefer something a little more highbrow, you could visit one of the various museums in the area, including the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, the Cornell Fine Arts Museum, the Orlando Museum of Art, the Orlando Science Center or the Orange County Regional History Center.

Even if you get bored of visiting the various theme parks in the area and partaking of a drink in all of the gay bars, you will always find there is something else to do in Orlando!
