More on me. I am 77, I had a quad heart bypass in 2014, fully recovered now. Before that I suffered a spinal stroke.(look it up)
When I was quite young, I remember my mum feeding me just a boiled onion for tea, that's how our finances were in the day!
I live in a double cottage and a large garden. I feed the birds daily, my garden has 6 small bird nest boxes. I also have 4 bee hives.
I also grow trees from acorns and horse chestnut seeds (conkers), some are now over 20 ft tall.
Animals are my passion, and normally I prefer them to people. Why do I feel this way? well, animals will never be responsible for the destruction of this beautiful planet, humans can, and one will do !!
Occasionally I find a nice man to chat to, I also have a long-term partner who is very unwell at the moment.
My hobbies include watercolour painting, and I once had a 4.5 golf hcp.
I like to reminisce; born in 1948, my time was in the wonderful 1960's No music to match it, so I tune in to Tony Blackburn every Saturday at 6 am, also on catch up , later via BBC sounds. We can all go back sometimes to feel the warmth of a certain time matched to some music. That to me is a great comfort. Do you have memories?
Too many people on here with no face pic, and I don't particularly want to see a cock, or plural.
Got a dog? Get one, preferably a rescue dog, you will never be alone, and there will always be an occasion to talk!!.
1 more thing, I prefer a chap with something interesting between his ears...not between his legs!!
