I am a healthy, active, bearded, ‘old’ country daddy (80 years old) who works outside daily. I split wood, use a farm tractor, haul firewood, use a chainsaw, etc. That said, I am in search of a special man to share the work and pleasures of life on 100 acres of hilly mostly forested land in rural, southern West Virginia where going for 'a walk in the woods' is as simple as stepping off the back porch.
If sex is what you seek, then that might be possible IF there is mutual attraction but, again, for me it is not required nor is it the reason that I post a profile here. When I was 25, I wanted sexual ‘hookups’ but now I seek to find a life partner. More important than sex are some of these things: sitting outside and watching the hummingbirds or the wood thrushes in the evening or have you help me put a log in place that I can split with my log splitter so we can enjoy a fire in the winter or share a moment of laughter while watching PBS or share a view of Istanbul from our hotel window. Although sex would be icing on the cake, keeping a clean kitchen is more important to me than sex.
If you grew up on a farm, and can ride a 4 wheeler, that’s great. I have a 1984 VW Vanagon Camper that I have driven all over the world. I have been to 80 countries and all 7 continents. Want to travel to Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia - I'm your man. I've driven from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego and through Moscow and across Lesotho. I do a lot of digital photography and live in a house I built myself with three wonderful dogs (former strays). I had a wonderful partner for 30 years but he died of ALS.
In addition, that means that you would have to relocate so no use to read on if that thought is unacceptable for you. Who knows, it could allow freedoms like not traveling alone or simply, another person to share the joys and work and happiness of life. For me, the most important reason for being together is the sharing of everyday life so at this time.
