I am new to the San Antonio area as of Oct, 2023. Originally from El Paso where I was raised, I ventured out on my own when I was 25 in 2007 to Chicago where I stayed there until 2019. I am a semi retired professional dancer that still does the occasional choreography gig or freelance work. I describe myself as an extrovert, however with the social norms changing after the pandemic I find myself keeping more to myself and slightly more introverted than I care to admit.
I have been out since I was 15, am 100% gay and am what's referred to as a "gold star gay," meaning I've never been with a woman sexually and have no desire to be. I have several interests ranging from trying a new local restaurant to dining in, movie buff (period drama's and documentaries), can have my inner kid come out with a decent animation. I enjoy reading, am an avid theater goer and supporter of the arts.
Sexually I am fully vers and would prefer the same (though not a deal breaker). I tend to be more on the wild side and am neg on prep so typically play bareback. One little soap box moment... Gentlemen, you can either take what I'm about to say into consideration or you can completely ignore it... your choice and before I dive right in I just want to start off by saying I last tested neg and have been on PreP since 2012 (if you don't know what it is look it up and get educated). Ok, here we go...
Please do not ask others if they are "clean" or refer to yourselves as being "clean" in regards to STD/STI and MOST IMPORTANTLY HIV Status. If you ask me if I'm clean my response will simply be, "Why yes, I have showered today." Regardless of your status asking anyone if they're "clean" is rather impolite. No matter what one's status is that does NOT make them dirty, because asking if one is clean is insinuating filth. Also, the epidemic of our time (if monitored, treated, or also with taking preventive measures such as PreP) IS NO LONGER A DEATH SENTENCE. If anything being ill informed and not knowing your status is what contributes to the spread. Anyhow, I can go on for hours and days but just be mindful of who your audience is because the next person you may ask if they're "clean" they just may "clean" you up and not in a pretty way as I've personally experienced and witnessed.... FOOD FOR THOUGHT. Thanks for your time.
