Professional, intelligent, genuine and down-to-earth ex-Londoner now relocated to beautiful North Yorkshire. Semi-retired, left-leaning, solvent and independent. Interested in tennis, football, military history, museums and galleries, travel, reading and writing and exploring historic monuments/buildings. In my third year of a Spanish class, which also occupies my time.

Seeking friends and social contacts, but open to more. I'm interested in who you are, how you are, how you relate, and what you think. The physical side is very important, but if it's all you got to talk about, we're unlikely to get beyond a brief chat.

I'm relatively, fit and healthy. Height and weight (more or less) are in proportion. If you are under 55 or a smoker, nothing physical is likely to develop. That said, I am always happy to chat or meet anyone for a coffee.
