I am 45 minutes SW of Edmonton, Alberta Canada.
Looking for a young guy who can keep up with me backpacking. I like to do week long, 140 km trips in Willmore. I'm getting a bit creaky at this, and I really want to do my next trip with a 600 mm lens. Well that's like having a large brick extra in your pack. Want to come be my pack mule?
Outside of backpacking, trampoline, tree farming, I live a world of ideas. Big problems interest me. Sometimes I have a solution. They may even work.
Zero interest in sports.
Interest in photography, horticulture, climate change, ecology, expedition style canoeing, orienteering. In general, pretty much any form of self propelled back country travel.
I don't like camping. Oh, it's ok. It's a means to be in the wild. But camping in a campground, and staying in the same place for days? I'd rather watch paint dry.
Lots of interest in technology in general. Other conversation topics: Climate change, ecology, education reform, political systems analysis, economic reform. In terms of stands on polarizing issues: CC is a big problem. Our education system needs to do a better job at teaching critical thinking, our political system is both unfair and unjust, and cannot be fixed by any system of 1 person 1 vote. (Ask me before ranting, please) The wealthy control too much of the economy. Women get to decide what happens inside their bodies. The answers to our problems are not less tech, but more.
I'm married. Ethical non-monogamy.
I'm partially deaf. It's not a problem in a quiet location, but understanding conversation in a restaurant or bar is problematic. Don't like going out.
I'm bi-curious. Hetero-married, but gay virgin. This has changed over the years. I used to see myself as pure hetero. Now I see myself as 90 percent gay.
I'm attracted to skinny fit guys Not attracted to beefy muscular guys. BMI under 20 is hot.
Hairy myself, I'm attracted to smooth guys, and to a lesser extent, hardbodied gals.
I respect competence in anything.
I have a kinky side: I like administering corporal punishment. Belt, switch, paddle.
