I'm a friendly college philosophy teacher interested in meeting attractive, in-shape, financially stable guys in their 20s to early-40s, who have warmth, humor, sensitivity to others, a sense of responsibility, and intelligence. Athletic types definitely get my attention, and the rest of the package keeps me interested. At which point I'm an excellent listener as long as you are. I like mentoring younger guys. Does that make me a "daddy"? I guess so, though I don't much fancy the term.
You can probably see that I’m looking for someone who doesn't get discouraged reading a long profile. I think patience is a virtue, and those who lack patience in small things probably lack patience in large things as well in things like relationships, for example. I think that real dating is a skill that people have to practice to get good at. And part of getting good is to go forward without a great investment in the outcome. I strive to accept whatever happens, with as little drama as possible. And I don't need sex on the first, second, or probably the third date. I'm trying to revive the art of courtship...
In February of 2019, I married a wonderful younger guy, so I'm not available for monogamous romance. But I'm totally available for just a few interesting friends who have an intellectual, open-minded and culturally and politically informed outlook. Oh, and I'm not averse to cuddling. :>)
AND ONE MORE THING: I'm not wealthy. As a younger man, I was more consumed by "finding myself" than I was about preparing for my financial future. In that respect, I'm an absolute success, besides the fact that I'm not destitute, despite it all. But, honestly, I can't really be of any financial help. I regret that. But there it is.
