Basically, I'm looking to travel, and I'd like to have someone to travel with. I've gone solo before, and it's okay, but I'd like to have someone for conversation, to share meals, and to split expenses. And maybe more, but that would depend on the chemistry. If we hit it off, then great, but even if we don't, we can still hike or ski and eat together. And while I don't mind going to a museum or the theater by myself, it's nice to have someone to talk with after the show.
As for longer term, it would be great to find someone to spend more than just a vacation with. Really, there is nothing I'd like better than to wake up with the same great guy every day for the rest of my life. But guys like that don't just grow on trees, and until I meet the right one, I'd like to get out and have some fun. A vacation with a new friend might be a good place to start.
