About Me

I came to the US in 1983. I got a BS in chemical engineering from Taiwan, an MBA from U of Iowa, a Ph.D. in management science from UT-Austin. I worked as a business application computer programmer for 10 years. Quit it and started doing stock trading on my own into the present day. I'm quiet, honest, sincere, and fair. Enjoy bridge, chess, action movies, country music, and pleasing nice old men. I developed a father-complex ever since my puberty, very eager to please other father-figure old men in search of fatherly affections because I was very scared of my father when I was a kid due to his bad temper. I joined an older gay group - Prime Timers in 1991, found and widowed by 5 wonderful partners born in 1915, 1920, 1924, 1917 and1931. I was left single again in 2017. I would like to seek nice (non-egotistic) old men (75 plus) for long term sincere friendship, hopefully, turn into my future partner.
I'm an agnostic atheist. I respect other's people's religion and freedom to believe, but I disagree if the name of religion was used to suppress other non-believers' freedom. I dislike politics. I know if you live in a society, you can't get away from politics. But nowadays the political atmosphere is so convoluted and degraded that all I can see is everyone in politics lies - no matter which side. It comes to the point that I rather stay away from any political issues because too hard to sort out if anyone is telling the truth. There's no integrity in a political person anymore.
