I'm an older, genuine, sincere, fun man near Manchester city centre who seeks a genuine (which is important) younger man for something more serious rather than just casual fun. My age range is not set in stone, as it's the person who is more important, but it's not often that I'd go for someone much over 48 or under 35. I am only seeking people local to me or, maybe / possibly, in the wider UK and Ireland. I tend to only respond to winks from local people.
I had some Irish roots in Co Wexford - my paternal grandmother was from just outside Gorey. Sadly, I've no close relatives there now but still love the County. I visit Dublin often and have considered living in Ireland.
I'm retired but keep myself busy with charity and community volunteering. I have lots of interests in addition to my voluntary work including all types of music and theatre, current affairs, watching football (Manchester United season ticket holder but don't hate other teams!!), socialising, reading, holidays (I prefer interesting places rather than only lying in the sun) and more.
I was married many years ago and have 2 daughters who have no problem with me being gay. They, and their families, are very important to me. Being gay is not the be all and end all in my life but is just a part of the total me.
As I get older, I enjoy the tactile side of intimacy (I give a good, sensual massage!) more than just purely sex. Taking time is good!
I will reply to all messages and also winks if the person is in my preferred age range and in the UK or Ireland plus looking for something more serious than just fun. I'd like to see a face pic please before I meet anyone - I'm sorry if you think that makes me fickle.
Also, I'm an easy going chap but I do find it frustrating that, when there's a "not interested" auto reply option, people don't respond to messages. Equally, why send a wink and then not respond when I send a message in response to the wink? End of rant! lol
