Step 1: The Look - I know we shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but it is necessary. I do need the outside to reflect what's going on inside.

Step 2: The Kiss - As the song goes, 'it's in the kiss'. More than sex, the kiss is the single most intimate act possible...and it tells a lot.

Step 3: The Touch - I am a tactile kind of guy. If I have the desire to feel you next me, this is a good sign! Likewise, if you want me close, it says a lot.

Step 4: The Heart - While this could refer to emotions (in which case this could easily be step 1), I am talking about the quality of a person. What comes from within: what's important in life. What does the other person place value on? Is this a caring, loving person, or is this a seriously depressed wreck waiting to happen?
