With a population of over 1.4 million, Munich is the third largest city in Germany and has long been regarded as one of the most liveable cities in the world. Munich is also known for its stunning architecture and imposing buildings. Whilst in Munich, you may decide to visit some of the world-class museums, such as the City Museum of Munich, the German Theatre Museum, the Jewish Museum, the National Bavarian Museum, the National Museum of Egyptian Art, the BMW Museum and the Deutsches Museum. There are also a number of theatres in the city, including the Residenztheater, the Nationaltheater and the Deutsches Theater. If you prefer doing something more active, there are a number of parks to explore, such as the Englischer Garten and Olympiapark, and plenty of shopping to be done!
