Hoping to find someone very special and authentic , Do miracles happen ? By that I mean are there any folk out there with whom I have anything in common, and with whom there's some sort of basis for either a friendship or even something more....or is it too tall an order ?
I like to consider myself to be a caring and thoughtful and sensitive sort of person, and my general philosophy is to do as I would be done by....to treat others as I'd like to be treated myself...ideally !
I'm afraid that I don't much care for difficult or arrogant and self-absorbed folk, and much prefer "Real" / well-grounded and empathetic people with a good value-base / integrity , not plastic, insincere nor shallow / unkind individuals.
Me ? Well, I am a hirsute sort of person..."Bearish", with facial hair...ok,if the truth be known ,I am a Werewolf of this Parish ! My preference is for similar chaps....ideally,but nowadays,I have to be realistic and know that if I find some sort of platonic friendship, I ought to be counting my blessings !
My interests etc ? I have a fair few including Art Design, Spiritualism, Gardening,pets, Cooking, Aga Cookers, Vintage Films and Vintage music, Nostalgia,National Trust Properties etc and above all my passion... collecting and Antiques !

After having been a full-time / 24-7 carer for my family , whom I have now very sadly lost, I'm trying my level best to get some sort of a life together again. Losing my family has truly devastated me, along with the loss of my dog too....I'm just taking one day at a time, and learning to walk before I can run. I have started to attend a couple of LGBTQ social groups and have joined some online groups too, hoping that these will all prove to be useful / helpful and will be of assistance on the journey ahead of me.
So, do get in contact if you feel that we might be compatible, it would be heartening to hear from someone who's truly genuine.
