This senior gentleman is retired, having been professionally involved in tertiary education most of his working life. He enjoys reading history, art, philosophy (and crime thrillers). Having an open-minded attitude he has travelled widely, enjoying the riches different cultures have to offer. He is a published author who still likes to write as a creative activity. He enjoys Nature and periodically takes camping trips - preferably with a companion. This gentleman seeks a relationship with a younger adult man who is fit and healthy, well-mannered and yet engaging and able to enjoy conversation with an older gentleman. Between the two there would be lots of laughter. This younger man might, from time to time, be open to guidance or mentoring, as he would respect and value the life-experience of an older man. The younger man would not have an attitude of entitlement. Rather, he would have good communication skills, a willingness to share his feelings, show appreciation, and value the genuine friendship of an older man, showing it by his willingness to give rather as well as take. Of course he would rightfully expect the older man to possess and show all the above qualities, and more, in regard to building a strong and loving relationship.
