I am HIV and undetectable. This means that I cannot transmit the disease. If you have questions ask. As a long-term survivor, I can pretty much answer any that you have or give you resources that can help. I am active in the community and working on putting a commune together for long-term survivors, their partners and those who have retired and just aren't making it because of working in jobs that didn't provide retirement or pay enough into the social security system. People in our generation often worked lifetime careers in jobs that often were under the table so they have minimal social security and no retirement. Often long-term survivors wound up on SSDI even when working careers that paid very well and many times spent down everything they had because it was assumed they were going to die by the medical community. As such they often have a very minimal existence. If any of this bothers you please don't bother me. If this intrigues you just ask! I am an open book and out with both being gay and HIV. Sexually I really don't know what role I would play as I am not looking for easy sex and have been pretty much celibate for 11 years. Previously, I was versatile.
All of this being said, I am active whenever possible, work a part-time job, and have a love of life and a very zen way of looking at life. I believe that you can love someone without having them an integral part of your life. If someone is going to create drama for me I don't allow them the power to bring their drama to me. As such, I don't allow a majority of my family direct access to my life. I am the middle child of 9 with both parents and two sisters having passed away. This also includes a very large extended family.
I enjoy many things but am fairly busy and would need the right person to do these things with. I am also open to and love new experiences as I have a very versatile and eclectic nature. I have done many things in my life from home repair to operating as the general contractor on a full-scale renovation of an 8,000sf warehouse into a gluten-free bakery which I co-owned with my prior partner. I live on a bluff above a river surrounded by cow pastures with my roommate who is my best friend, his partner, and 3 dogs. We have campouts here with river floats and canoes and enjoy a simple life.
