Local Information
Alora is about 25 miles inland of Torremolinos and Malaga. we are in the hills above. The train line here is amazing and puts the UK system to shame. One can have a day trip to Malaga city for as little as £5. Or you can take a trip to Ronda on the train

An old Andalucian Farmhouse nestling in the rolling foothills of inland Costa del Sol - just a short drive from Malaga and the Mediterranean resorts of the Costa del Sol

2 Double Bedroom Apartment - from only £275 per week "Sleeps 4"

A beautiful self-contained apartment with its own private terraces – one south-facing catching the sun from the morning after it rises over the mountains, until late in the evening, the other terrace, covered with a comfortable seating area - a great place to escape the sun.

1 Double Bedroom Apartment - from only £175 per week "Sleeps 2"

A lovely apartment, again with a private terrace overlooking the pool area and the catching the sun all day and with a shaded seating area.

Away from the noisy, crowded, coastal resorts, we offer a tranquil alternative - a 'get away from it all' holiday - situated near Alora, just 40kms north of Malaga, we may well be just what you've been looking for.

Feel free to enjoy the large swimming pool with further sun terraces and gardens together with relaxation areas amongst the olive trees around the grounds

(Casa Harriet was purchased by present owners 2005 and, after extensive upgrading, opened in Summer 2009)

We are GAY OWNED accommodation. I DO NOT LIKE ALL THIS "GAY FRIENDLY RUBBISH". we are not lepers.

Thank you both for making this a truly memorable break. The setting is truly spectacular. we both feel so relaxed and don't want to leave. We have been very well looked after and couldnt ask for more, apart from kidnapping your 2 lovely dogs.

A little piece of paradise hidden away so the masses cannot get to it, Fabulous. I have never felt so relaxed and so well looked after. Ade and Bry went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It was truly a pleasure to have stayed. We will be back.

My 3rd visit of many more in the future. Pool Gardens and Views amazing, the hosts very welcoming. Anyone looking for a truly peaceful and relaxing holiday will not be disappointed

Casa Harriet is the most peaceful and tranquil holiday you could find. Adrian and Bryan were the most hospitable and attentive hosts. A perfect retreat.

A very warm welcome was provided on arrival, and the hosts attentive throughout our stay. As were the *managers* Lillian and her daughter Alice (beautiful pups). Both of whom visited us everyday, tails wagging with expectant looks for treats.
