With a population of over a million people, Cologne is Germany’s fourth largest city, well-known for its liberalness and for being at the cultural centre of the Rhineland. The city is home to a great number of museums, art galleries, exhibitions, trade shows and festivals and has some amazing architecture. You can also enjoy shopping in one of the pedestrianized areas of the city, with Hohe Straße being one of the oldest and busiest streets in Cologne. You will discover a wide variety of shops to cater for your needs. There is obviously more than shopping to be done in Cologne, though, as you will no doubt find out.
