With a population of around 260,000 Buffalo is the second most populous city in the state of New York. It is a city that is proud of its heritage and this is evident in the number of museums and historical buildings in the area. As well as possessing plenty of cultural attractions, Buffalo is also known for its vibrant nightlife – the kind of nightlife that only really gets underway after 11pm. If you’re interested in mingling with the gay crowd, it is worth heading to Allentown, as there is an established LGBT community and plenty of gay bars, clubs and other establishments there.

Allentown is not only known for embracing bohemian and gay culture; the Allentown Historic District is also famous for being the location of architecturally impressive buildings such as the Allendale Theatre; the William Dorsheimer House; and the houses located on Tiffts Row.
There are plenty of other attractions and locations in Buffalo worth visiting, such as Delaware Park; South Park; Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens; Buffalo Zoo; Forest Lawn Cemetery; Gallagher Beach State Park; Tifft Nature Preserve; Times Beach Nature Preserve; and Beaver Island State Park.
