With its rich history full of historical buildings and ancient streets, its outstanding museums and galleries, the uniquely enchanting Tivoli Gardens and a resident monarchy that is the oldest in the world, the Danish capital has a host of attractions to suit all tastes. Mine included. Very, very clean and beautiful city but as much as it is clean - as much as it is expensive. As mentioned lots to do and see, the Tivoli gardens are still worth a cruise. The Cafe Intime was really the only bar worth mentioning to my tastes that is. I have added it in the amenity section......show review

Homosexuality is generally well accepted in Denmark. Denmark is traditionally a very open and tolerant society towards anyone a little bit "different", even more so than the other Scandinavian countries. This is reflected in their very progressive legislation on gay and lesbian equality. The small gay scene is focused in Copenhagen and lesbian and gay visitors will certainly enjoy a visit to one of the most gay friendly countries in the world
