| The UK "Caffmos Gathering" - 19th to 22th September 2008 |
 Once again we have booked sole occupancy of the Mayfair Hotel in Bournemouth for our Caffmos Annual Gathering in 2008. The dates are 19th - 22nd September.
Do please contact the Mayfair Hotel direct on 01202 551983 to make your bookings. Prices start at Mayfair Hotel from £108 per person for the 3 nights based on two sharing. The prices for the spill over hotel (The Roundhouse - Piccadily) may differ. One can always make their own arrangements as Bournemouth offers a wide choice of hotels.

If you do make your own arrangements or live locally - a warm welcome will always be found if you wish to join us during the day or for the evenings entertainment. This event enjoys terrific support so an earlier booking is essential. |

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Friday 19th September
Welcome to the Mayfair Hotel. Freddy and I, amongst others will be there to meet and greet you on your arrival. The Mayfair extends a Warm Welcome back to those who have returned for another year, and to those ‘first timers’ who I am sure will be well looked after.
Once settled in please come and join us in the bar/lounge area - aperitifs from 5.30pm onwards.
6.30pm – 8.30pm
Dinner is served in the Mayfair Restaurant.
8.30 onwards
After dinner please make your way to the Ballroom where the Wonderfully Talented ‘PAUL SHINER’ returns. For those who haven’t spent the night with Paul before, don’t miss out this time, he has one of the biggest…… voices you will hear in Bournemouth. |

Saturday 20th September
7.30am- 9.30am
Make sure you get a good Hearty Breakfast this morning from our Restaurant.
Tonight’s theme is ‘THE CIRCUS’ So make sure you get into town and get those red noses and spandex at the ready!

Once again the evening will start with aperitifs from 6pm onwards in the bar and lounges.
6.30pm – 8.00pm
Time to sample the culinary delights served In the Mayfair Restaurant
9.00pm - Midnight
Make your way into the Big Top where your Ringmasters for tonight are the insatiable ‘COVER GIRLS’ A duo that will have you dancing the night away.
10.30pm CIRCUS OSCARS!!
For all of those who have made the effort the CIRCUS OSCARS will now take place where the
’BEST DRESSED’ will win a prize… so line up and show us your best bits.
Midnight onwards
Time to see who the real men are with all the stamina as the Lounge bar stays open for you. |

Sunday 21st September

For those of you who went to bed last night! Breakfast is served in the Restaurant. After Breakfast why not take a nice stroll into town , or meet friends in one of our lounges.

Tonights Dinner is served by the Mayfair's friendly staff

Tonights Entertainment comes in the perfectly formed ‘JOE DIAMOND’ Sings and performs with his Large instrument for you all to enjoy! |

Monday 22nd September

Time to meet and enjoy Breakfast together before you say your goodbyes for another year.
If you haven't as yet booked give the hotel a call, there may be some cancellations. If not I am sure they will be able to assist with alternative arrangements. Hotel details at the top of the page. Don't forget if you have made your own accommodation arrangements you are more than welcome to join us in the Mayfair's bars/lounges and for the organised entertainment. Those having made their own arrangements who would like to join the group for the evening meal do please contact the Mayfair hotel direct to see if there is still space available. If due to circumstances you cannot make Bournemouth this year, don't fret book for Blackpool instead! We have reserved the Famous "Queens Hotel and Leisure Centre" on Blackpool seafront for a three night party weekend from 8th-11th May 2009 coinciding with Blackpool Pride. | BENIDORM - "Vamos a la Playa!" - 25th September to 9th October 2008 |
 This is not a true organised event, however it is a time when a large number of Caffmos members, friends and guests travel out amd meet up in Benidorm - Costa Blanca, Spain. Benidorm, like Playa del Ingles is one of the best resorts for the more mature gentleman and admirer to some too. There are numerous bars, hotels, restaurants and saunas as well as a gay beach to keep you occupied.
Plus you can still get some great deals, cheap flights and hotels. As it is not an organised group, you make your own booking and reservation. Just browse the internet! Get the best deal and make your way there for the above dates shown. Once there you will be able to do as you please when you get there. Spend as much time with other members or do your own thing. The choice will be yours!

Guys, do give the above cruise some thought. What a terrific way to spend a weeks vacation. I had never been on a cruise before this year's cruise last February and I have to say it was absolutely fantastic. They say once you have been on a cruise you will never want to do anything else. Anything?? Well Freddy might not agree to that, but the Royal Caribbean Cruise liner "Jewel of the Seas" was enormous - he was rather jealous of that too! No seriously now - the food was great, so was the service and I cannot say enough about those who participated, Freddy and I were made to feel so welcome. Thank you guys, you were terrific! We have already booked for next year and are hoping to rekindle many a friendship gained. John & Freddy
