Best time to visit Palm Springs is February to early June and October to November but any time is great. It is very hot in July and August. Warm Sands area has many gay resorts some of which are clothing optional. There are a few more in other areas. They are all very similar with friendly being the watchword. Old or young, you will be welcome and not feel out of it. Arenas Rd. has some great bars but there are many others too. Wangs on a Friday night is great too with fantastic cocktails and a lively, friendly crowd. Eating is good too in Palm Springs with some great restaurants with international cuisine. Take a trip up to the top of the tram or to Joshua Tree, Living Desert, Palm Springs museum, Indian Canyons or Tahquitz Canyon. For a bit cooler weather try Idyllwild. Great shopping to be had in Palm Desert at the mall or El Paseo Drive. I know Palm Springs very well and highly recommend a trip. It is just too fantastic for words.

Have stayed at the Canyon Club Hotel 3 times in the last 18 months. It's a great gay resort owned by an intergenerational couple. It has been completely remodeled in the past year and has 32 rooms/suites. Ammenities include 50 ft pool and large deck, spa, sauna and steam room. Rooms have tv ( including 3 channels of gay adult videos), refrigerator and some microwaves. Very friendly, clothing optional property. Conveniently located at 960 N Palm Canyon Drive with parking in rear off Indian Canyon. Near everything. Ask for Chris or John at 877-258-2887. Catch them on the web at www.canyonclubhotel.com

Palm Springs is best in spring & fall. Too hot in summer. If you're fleeing winter cold you'll find it warm (As a spoiled Californian, I find Dec-Jan a bit too cool.) I always stay I like CHAPS INN. Caters to older and bears and their admirers. I like the no-attitude atmosphere. As soon as I check in, my cares away with my clothes. Oddly, my libido just won't quit! Woof! Of course, if you're young, beautiful & buff... you can go to the CLUB INDULGE or CCBC. But if not, you'll be considered a troll. And don't miss the Sunday night$1 beer blast (actually a group grope) at THE BARRACKS reach out and touch someone.

Visited PS the first week of October!! Weather was great and I highly recommend INNdulge! Mostly couples with lots of men from Europe and Canada. Nice friendly staff and close to downtown and the bars and restuarants. I highly recommend Streetbar and Rainbow (across the street from each other) if you are looking for hot older local and visiors!! mmmmmmmm I sure plan to go back! rmc
