Got cruised coming up the escalator at Marble Arch by a cute guy who went into the Quebec - had to go meet a friend for a couple of hours and the cute guy was gone when I got there. Like the bar and some really hot guys there - but maybe I just picked a bad night cos it wasnt as cruisy as I hoped. I ended up a wallflowers in the downstairs bar but will definitely be back for a second visit soon!!

London is very poor and not really orientated towards the Older/Younger and vice versa. Just spent the last week and stayed at the Cumberland hotel, very convenient for the Quebec. The Quebec is still the same, atmosphere is OK very cruisey downstairs, but the staff need to get some manners. Just a tip for visitors, if you are visiting Europe and are planning on visiting Dublin, Ireland. Do make the effort of going to the side bar at The George, the smaller of the two bars, you will find plenty of mature guys who are very friendly and staff with manners.

In response to the first review. I think the staff arent very older friendly.Well apart from the regulars. They are nice to me but...im young. Makes sense. They have been said to be trying to get younger but they wont.the reputation for what it is is well known.

I travel to london every couple of weeks just to get out of the hell of a gay scene that is in Ireland. The quebec is the place to be. There is just nothing reomotely close to it anywhere in the world. If you like older this is the place to be

Not the most older friendly city. Sure it has the "Elephants Graveyard", The Quebec - but couldn't say that I found the staff there very older friendly. Plus I have heard (only rumour) that they may be seeking to get a younger crowd in the doors. I have always found London rather shabby (dirty). Sorry to be so negative guys, it is only my opinion and I believe that's what this site is all about - individuality and not being a sheep or a number. Keep it up Caffmos. Terrific site.
