Just back from Bredene/ Da Haan in belguim on the coast and very clean hotel 1 or 2 very poilte and clean and fod good too. The Naturist beach for both straights and gays is good you are made to feel welcome with small enclosues to keep the wind out of the hair... If fun is wanted then stroll over to the dunes and fun can be had locals and dutch guys there... some police action but if not too blantant with the action they leave you be older guys made to feel very welcome only 10 mins away from Ostend great place for a small holiday

Great gay saunas in Brussels and Ostend for men 50+ (La Griffe and Aquarius respectively),particularly on days with reduced entry fee (Wed. in La Griffe, Tue. in Aquarius). Bredene-Hippodrome (near Ostend) nudist beach has a gay section, but it is police supervised ( so don't get too far)! Just a short tram ride away from Ostend train station. Many older Belgian gay men can host and are quite willing to do so for visitors from abroad.

I would second the review of the Oasis Sauna. The buffet dinner on Saturday evening was quite surreal. Waiters in normal waiters' dress bringing food to we men in just towels, in a really classy dining room. The wet area is fab, and people laugh and chat as they splash about in the Jacuzzis. Rue Van Orley is very short and may not be shown on your city plan. Get the Metro to the botanical gardens and find it on the area plan in the station.
