Avoid the aforementioned Apollo sauna on kurfursten strasse its got a real bad unfriendly vibe and the place is crawling with weird agressive hustlers who are like something from a bad dream....ugh

Went to Apollo Sauna/Club Brasil. Rather expensive to get in at 21 Euro. Although the place is quite well laid out, there were only about a dozen clients which was not very good. Asked if I could go out and come back later and said that was not possible unless I paid for more. Would probably not go there again.

A City that bustles more or less 24 hs. It is the city no doubt that has the best public transport system in the world. I should know since I moved to Berlin just 4 months ago. No matter where you stay you find a fast connection to almost any point in the City. Marlene Dietrich wanted to be burried here. Berlin has also, besides Cologne, the largest gay community in Germany. You can chose between approx. 80 gay spots that are spread in clusters about town. Shop till you drop. Indeed Berlin offers so many excellent shopping spots that you wish you had taken that extra credit card along. Staying at the Hiltons? You don't have to: you can also stay at a private guesthouse that costs you only Euro 25 a night. Dine & wine around for less than Euro 8 for a good meal. Berlin is (still) one of the few inexpensive capitals in the world. So, when are you coming?

There's something for everyone in Berlin (just ask Sally Bowles!). It's a great city which is re-inventing itself. Public transport is excellent and safe; the people are friendly; prices are reasonable; food is good. There are heaps of galleries, museums and other tourist attractions.
