The sauna is situated nearly opposite Debenham's Store in East Street. The premises are large and spotlessly clean and the staff quite pleasant. On the ground floor is a large lounge/TV/bar area with the locker rooms just off. Through to the rear are the showers, steam room and two saunas with a Jacuzzi in the central area - unfortunately you have to ask for the Jacuzzi to be switched on by one of the staff members - I presume to try to save electricity. Upstairs there are various restrooms and a porno video room as well as a dimly lit darkroom area. I visited on a Tuesday afternoon and there were about 30 clients, whilst I was there, ranging in age from early 20's to over 60. Most were friendly with little attitude. Much of the sex takes place upstairs in the video room and the darkroom. The entrance fee is £14, which appears to be quite expensive for a sauna in the provinces.
